Tell us in a nutshell about who you are, what your business is and what you offer?

Hi, I’m Victoria. I provide the very best career and lifestyle coaching which is supported by the belief that work and life have to work together. Self-care is a part of overall well being is really important to me and coaching supports this as it builds resilience (and ultimately your legacy).  I believe that a sense of purpose and meaning is found through the people around us and the impact of the decisions we make.

There are lots of coaches out there so why pick me?

I am qualified and have worked for many years in an FTSE 100 company.

You need a coach with who you have an affinity, in the coaching world this is called ‘chemistry’. So, if you are looking for a coach who is dynamic, naturally energetic, challenges with kindness and is creative, you’ve found me! I will really listen; you hold the answers and resources within you and my job is to create and hold the space for you to experiment, learn and gather insight.  I will give you the permission to dream when times are tough. When you leave our coaching sessions you will have higher energy and greater clarity on how to move forward so you are living with purpose.

What is the one thing you love most about your job?

It is a real joy to see others have realisations that impact them so deeply and move them forwards.

Human understanding is an amazing thing.  Understanding our thoughts and actions, values and beliefs and how they consciously and subconsciously move us forward fascinate me. It’s a unique relationship you form between coach and coachee – it is a very special relationship and I’m frequently humbled by it.

How did you get into the sector and why?

My first experience of coaching was over ten years ago. I went to coaching wanting to know what the next step in my career was going to be and thinking I was going to come away with the answer. Luckily, that was not what happened at all! I realised that actually what I needed was the space to think and untangle my thoughts. As I spent more time with my coach I realised it was coaching that was helping me move forward at my pace. The tools and techniques helped me understand myself, my core values, my strengths, and it has really contributed to my success to date. I want to help others move forward in the way it has helped me.

What is the most memorable comment/ compliment you’ve received from a client/ patient?

“This has been a revelation – so much better than I ever imagined.” Greta – 21

What inspires you?

I have a real opportunity to focus – I’m inspired by looking for the new and different and challenging myself on what I think. Risk plays a part in that – starting something I haven’t done before or witnessing people go for something new gets my heart and creativity pumping.

I get a lot of inspiration from walking and running. Being outside and moving my body gets my brain working and creativity flowing.

Spending time with my two children is also inspiring as it reminds me that we can so often limit ourselves and get in our own way as adults. Exploring this can bring some real insights into coaching.
